| LabPrints Order Guidelines | |||||
|
Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines before submitting LabPrints orders, especially template orders. Fonts If your templates utilize a font not in the following list, please contact the lab (techsupport@saphoto.com) for additional information: Arial, AvanteGarde Book, AvanteGarde Demi, Bookman, Comic Sans, Courier, Edwardian Script, Garmond, Georgia, Harrington, Helvetica, Letter Gothic, Lucida Handwriting, New Century Schoolbook, Palatino, Renaissance, Scriptin, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Verdana, Zapfino_Linotype_One Adjusting Template Dimensions Always order template prints the same size as the template, especially if your template includes text. You may change a template's dimensions when first opening an empty template in Template Designer. (LabPrints is working to correct this "bug".) Images and Image File Formats LabPrints supports JPEG and TIFF image file formats. We encourage you to use JPEG images because this significantly reduces your job upload time (by 3 - 5X), and results in no visible print quality differences compared to TIFF. However, when working an image in Photoshop, make your intermediate saves as TIFF or PSD. LabPrints does not support 16 bit TIFFs. LabPrints Job File Size Complex, multiple page template jobs can be very large. We suggest that you create separate LabPrints Lab Orders when the total size of images in a job exceeds 500 - 1,000 MB. Create a new LabPrints Lab Order by clicking the New Order button under the Invoice tab. Also, jobs exceeding 500 MB should be sent to the lab on CD, not uploaded. Composite Borders Thin borders ( < 5 pixels) at the very edge of the print may be clipped during printing. If an image must include an edge border it should be at least 15 pixels wide so that any potential clipping will not be visible.
